Can You Get Rich As A Freemason?
No, but there’s a reason successful people join the fraternity.

Some of the wealthiest, successful and powerful men in modern history have been Freemasons — including Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and John Wayne — but can you get rich by joining what has been called the ‘the world’s most secret society?’ (See my piece on masonic secrecy).
While it is true that many Freemasons are successful, a masonic lodge is not a business establishment. As such, lodges are prohibited from regularly selling goods or services to the public. Likewise, masonic lodges may neither provide a forum which encourages either business relations to grow or to enhance any commercial advantage of its members.
Yet, a lodge of Freemasons encourages the close association of members through a brotherhood dedicated to the improvement of their individual character; truth and justice; fraternity and philanthropy (See my article on masonic philanthropy); and personal enlightenment.
During initiation and other masonic activities, members often form close bonds. As such, it is not unusual for Freemasons to cooperate in the formation of firms that grow to become extremely lucrative businesses.
It is important to emphasize that any such business ventures between members of a lodge occur on their own time — not while the lodge is conducting official masonic business.
So you can get rich as a Freemason — just as you can get rich by not being a Freemason. You come up with a good business plan, find good business partners and execute your plan effectively.
